We are a large nonprofit mental health and community outreach organization seeking a Director of Compliance to lead and strengthen our compliance program. This role ensures organizational adherence to applicable federal and state regulations, payer requirements, and internal policies, with a strong focus on Medicaid and Medicare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain a comprehensive compliance program, including policies, procedures, training, auditing, and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid and Medicare regulations and payer requirements across applicable programs and services.
- Conduct and oversee internal compliance reviews, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to embed compliance into day-to-day practice.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise leadership on compliance impacts and required actions.
- Support external audits, reviews, and accreditation or licensing activities as applicable.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree or higher, from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated experience with all aspects of Medicaid and Medicare compliance, billing, and/or program requirements.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Qualifications Desired:
- Experience in a nonprofit environment.
- Experience supporting behavioral health, community-based services, or human services programs.
